Rio Rancho Public Schools has a bond issue on the upcoming General Obligations Bond Election on November 4, 2025!

If approved by Rio Rancho voters (YOU!), RRPS will receive over $80 million in funding for critical infrastructure projects, safety & security upgrades, athletic facility improvements, and more!

Important: This bond will not increase the current tax rate.

Please join us for a BBQ on Tuesday, September 9th, brought to you by the PTA. CDN students are free, and visitors $5 cash only. Lunch schedule is as follows: Kindergarten beginning at 10:25, 1st grade at 10:50, 4th grade at 11:15, 3rd grade at 11:40, 5th grade at 12:15, and 2nd grade at 12:40.
Colinas will be celebrating Cleveland High School's Homecoming week with our own Spirit Week.

Spirit Week, September 2025. Monday, September 8th is wear your favorite Disney gear day. Tuesday is Moana's island escape day. Wear tropical shorts, leis, floral prints, sunglasses, etc. Wednesday is color day. If you are in kindergarten, wear read. If you are in first grade, wear orange, and second grade wears yellow. Third grade wears green, fourth grade wears blue, and 5th grade wears purple. Then, dress up fancy for Treasure Thursday. Friday is school spirit day. Wear your best CDN or CHS school spirit wear or school colors.

Please join us on Wednesday, August 20th for an introductory meeting on the community council.

Rio Rancho Public Schools and Southwest Foodservice Excellence have created a comprehensive and always-up-to-date online menu for all 20 schools across the district. Just click or tap on the link below which leads to our Student Nutrition Department, then click or tap on the "Menu" tab to review your child's food options while at school. You can even filter menu items to search for allergens and specialty dietary needs.
