RRPS Aims for Zero Waste
Every day is a recycling day at RRPS! Please consider joining RRPS in its efforts to aim for zero waste in its school cafeterias, classrooms, offices and athletic events.  Zero waste is a philosophy that encourages the redesign of resource life cycles so that all products are reused. No trash is sent to landfills and incinerators. See how one southwestern campus is using “aversion” and “diversion” to reach its goals.  Click here to read about UNM's efforts.
Parents: Questions about Eureka Math?
Have questions about how we are teaching math? Click here to get answers and tips for parents about the Eureka Math program and Common Core. Good luck spellers!
Donuts for Dads
Dads, bring your students to the annual PTA Donuts for Dads on Friday, December 19!  The PTA will have free coffee, juice, and donuts starting at 6:30 am.  Donuts go fast and are served on a first come-first served basis.
Jammie Drive - Help us help those in need!
We are collecting brand new pajamas to give to children living in homeless shelters.  For every pair of new pajamas we collect, Scholastic will donate a brand-new book to help these children have a reassuring and cozy bedtime.  Just bring in a new pair of pajamas in any size and drop them in one of the Jammie Drive boxes by Thursday, December 11th.  We will do the rest.
Thanks for caring.
Safety Information for Families Dropping Off and Picking Up Students
Families ~ The dirt area west of the staff parking lot and along 10th St./Meadows Blvd. are not designated areas for parking.  Please do not park in those areas to drop off or pick up students.  This causes safety issues when attempting to drop off or pick up children during high traffic times.  Please use the parent drop-off and pick-up area on the south side of the school.  Thank you for helping us keep everyone safe.
