Rio Rancho Public Libraries Summer Reading Program
Parents/Guardians:Your child will be given the opportunity to register for the summer reading program at the Rio Rancho Public Library at their school library. Summer reading starts May 29, 2012 with aT-shirt giveaway (while supplies last).

The Fifth Grade Talent Show will be held on the morning of Monday May 21. Come support the 5th Grade students as they show off their amazing skills!

Registration for 2012-2013 School Year
Registration for next year is July 30 from 4:00 pm to 7:30 and the 31st from 8:00 – 12.
If parents cannot make this time, they may stop in the office anytime after August 2nd from 8:30- 3:00. They are encouraged to bring their proof of residency.

School Advisory Council Application
Parents, school staff members, and Rio Rancho residents are encouraged to apply for election to one of the school district’s 19 advisory school councils for the 2012-13 school year. Click here to learn about and submit your candidacy application.
May Backpack Program
The Backpack Program is asking for donations of juice for the month of May. The last day for backpacks to go home is Friday, May 18th. Thanks for your help throughout the year!

2012 Native American Summer Academy
Join us for a fun, educational learning experience during the 2012 Native American Summer Academy: A Robotic Adventure! The summer academy is open to RRPS students enrolled in K-11 and will take place July 23-Aug. 3 from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Thursday at Puesta del Sol Elementary School. Snow Make-Up Days
In order to make up the days we missed due to snow, we will be attending school on the following days:

Tuesday, Feb. 21 will be Rotation 3 and Monday, April 9 will be Rotation 4. No specials for Thursday, May 24.
